Money is numbers. That is all it is.
1 + 1 = 2
1-2 = -2
If you want to be rich, your job is to accumulate as many numbers as you can.
Everyone’s definition of being rich is different, for the sake of simplicity, in this article I’m going to assume that the more money you have the richer you are.
The economy is just a collection of numbers. When one person spends, another person earns.
Think of the economy like a giant sand pit. Everyone is trying to scrape together as much sand as they can.
If you want to be rich your job is to accumulate as much sand (money) as possible.
There is no right or wrong way to get rich (legally and ethically of course)
You can earn it from a job where you work for someone else
You can earn it from your own business where you work for yourself
You can earn it passively from investments
You can inherit it
You can win it
And many other ways
Remember, money is just numbers.
If you want to be rich, you need to focus your mind on becoming rich; you need to spend your time and energy on becoming rich.
How can you earn more money? You might be making 50k a year now, how can you earn 100k, 150k, 200k+++?
How can you save more money? Discounts, deals, budget etc.
How can you make your money work for you?
How can you minimize risk?
If you think like this and take action like this you will get rich.
You need to take consistent action over many years and you will accumulate a lot of numbers.
But remember no one ever takes the accumulated sand from the sandpit to the grave with them so make sure you have a goal in mind of what you want to use the money for. This could be a dream house, dream cars, charity, or maybe you just want financial independence so you can not work a job anymore. It’s up to you.
